Day 1 Tsavo East
The Joint mass of Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks forms one of the largest National parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya’s total land area. Tsavo East the larger of the two, lies to the east of the Nairobi –Mombasa road, equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa, and offers a vast and untapped arena of arid bush which is washed by azure and emerald meandering of Galana River. Guarded by the limitless lava reaches of Yatta plateau and patrolled by some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya

Our Safari leaves Mombasa / Nairobi at 6:45am and drives north towards the vast wilderness of Tsavo East, Kenya’s oldest and largest park. Arriving at the lodge Voi safari lodge or Aruba lodge in good time for early lunch after an introductory game in this park

Afternoon at leisure, the late afternoon 4.30p.m game viewing / exploring the park in such of elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, kudu, zebra and hartebeest

Dinner and overnight at the aruba lodge / voi safari lodge or similar standard inside the park

Meal plan : lunch and dinner

Day 2 Tsavo East-West
Game drive early morning before Breakfast. After breakfast leave Tsavo East with game drive en-route and cross into Tsavo West National Park for lunch at Kilaguni serena lodge . Later on in the afternoon, game viewing in the park.

The most iconic attraction in the park is Mzima Springs. The crystal-clear water of this chain of lakes is filtered through the volcanic rocks of the Chyulu Hills just to the north. Shaded by majestic fig and acacia trees, the lakes swarm with fish, large crocodiles and some big pods of hippos. You can leave your vehicle and follow a pretty nature trail – though you need to keep an eye out for large animals, especially early in the morning or before dusk. If you’re lucky, the underwater viewing chamber, accessed by a pier, can provide unique photo opportunities – of a sinuous, gliding crocodile, or the delicate, tiptoe, swimming-walking style of a hippo.

The hilly landscapes and woodland of Tsavo West mean that spotting wildlife can sometimes be tricky. There’s plenty of it, however, including large numbers of elephants and good lion prides. There’s also a good chance of seeing black rhinos in the secure rhino sanctuary. The experience of being on safari in Tsavo West is very different from a safari in Tsavo East or a Maasai Mara safari, where you often have views across wide-open country. Tsavo West safaris are more about unexpected sights as you turn a bend on a wooded track. Giraffe, impala, buffalo and Burchell’s zebra are all common species here.

The birdlife in the park is outstanding – if you’re on a birdwatching safari you’ll be knocked out by the number of sightings you have. The white-headed buffalo weaver is a particularly noticeable species, with its prominent bright red rump, and there are at least eight recorded hornbill species here. If time is not a limiting factor, for an all-day game drive to the southwest corner of the park, we shall visit Lake Jipe, which is a real water bird paradise.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 3 Tsavo West-Amboseli
After breakfast a game drive in the park including a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, Crocodiles, and various species of fish can be seen in the crystal-clear waters. Then proceed to Amboseli Game Park. Picnic lunch en route. Time allowing evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli serena lodge.

Amboseli are the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Here, hippo, elephant and bird life can be seen against the backdrop of the magnificent snow-capped mountain.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 4 Amboseli-Nakuru
After an early breakfast leave Amboseli for Nairobi and proceed to lake Nakuru national park, picnic lunch en-route and proceed for a game drive of Lake Nakuru often described as ‘World’s greatest bird spectacle” return to camp for dinner and Overnight at sarova lion hill lodge..

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5 Nakuru-Mara

On arrival at the mara serena lodge , relax by the swimming pool and after the sun has cool down proceed for a game drive in search for Black manned lions, Elephants, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and other plains game. 6 Days Amboseli, Nakuru & Masai Mara

6 Days Amboseli, Nakuru & Masai Mara
Day 1 – Nairobi to Amboseli
We depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a picnic lunch enroute we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before setting up camp in preparation for the evening. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains’ game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed.
Day 2 – Amboseli
We spend the enjoying the Amboseli through early morning and afternoon game drives.
Lunch will be back at the campsite and you have the option of visiting the nearby lodge for a swim and cold drink or nearby community for example Lenkisem masai cultural visit (optional)http://lenkisem.wordpress.com/
The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. At 329 sq km Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. Buffaloes, lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Masai Giraffes, zebra, baboon, and waterbuck are all present in the park.
Day 3 – Amboseli / Rift Valley / Lake Nakuru
After an early breakfast, we depart Amboseli viewing game en route as we proceed back towards Nairobi and further down the Escarpment to the floor of the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru National Park is situated. En route we enjoy a picnic lunch arriving in the late afternoon. We set up camp for the night just outside the park.
The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and the park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. We spend the night at a campsite outside the park.
Day 4 – Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast before venturing into Lake Nakuru national park for a morning game drive. We return to the campsite thereafter to break up camp and depart towards Narok town and Mara with packed lunches. Arrive Mara in the late afternoon and proceed on a brief game drive before exiting to set up camp at our Talek riverside campsite.
The Mara reserve is is typical savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.
Day 5 – Masai Mara
The following day will be spent in the game reserve; game viewing and absorbing the amazing sceneries. Optional activities include visiting a Masai village or school. You may also visit the lodge for a refreshing drink or swim. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.
Balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast and these trips safari can be arranged at our office upon booking.
Day 6 – Masai Mara to Nairobi
Morning game drive in the reserve before departing back towards Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon. Lunch will be prepared en-route.

5 Days Shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro and Wildlife Safari

5 Days Shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro and Wildlife Safari
A snowy plateau peeks out of the low-slung clouds, a white splash against a blue sky. An elephant, its massive tusks curved with age, parades by a pair of grazing zebras. Though our van dances in the welcoming shadow of Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro, we are just over the border in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park, a world of natural wonders.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
A snowy plateau peeks out of the low-slung clouds, a white splash against a blue sky.

An elephant, its massive tusks curved with age, parades by a pair of grazing zebras. Though our van dances in the welcoming shadow of Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro, we are just over the border in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park, a world of natural wonders.

The dramatic backdrop to our en-route game drive paints solitary trees and green grasses over the landscape.

Renowned for its large population of free-ranging bush elephants, Amboseli also shelters wildebeest, African buffalo, zebras, black rhinos and other plain animals, as well as 40 types of raptors and more than 400 bird species.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo SafariCamp (lunch & dinner).
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
We enjoy the luxury of time on today’s twin game drives, as we venture deeper into Amboseli’s savannah and bush. Search the skies and earth for the next photo op or animal sighting; both are ubiquitous in this diverse national park.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo SafariCamp (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Day 3: Amboseli to Masai Mara
Today welcomes you to an iconic Kenyan experience: Masai Mara. After breakfast, we’ll motor through the Great Rift Valley to end the day in the homeland of the Maasai.

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the world’s most famous safari destinations, and for good reason: incredible wildlife leave here and the region is cradle to a rich and colourful culture.

Late afternoon finds your hands latched to the vehicle’s safety bar, as we bump out onto our first expedition into the Maasai bush lands. And we’ve arrived just in time: if the timing is right, you’ll have the chance at a front-row seat to the Eighth Wonder of the World: the Great Wildebeest Migration. For two months a year, millions of hulking gnu abandon the Tanzanian Serengeti to thunder over the plains of Masai Mara, in search of shelter and sustenance. Thomson gazelles and zebra accompany the migration, infusing the region with big predators including cheetahs, lions, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp or similar (breakfast, lunch & Dinner).
Day 4: Masai Mara
In the glow of dawn, pale light trickles over the horizon until suddenly the sun’s fiery orb explodes into view. Its golden rays illuminate the savannah, glinting red and orange off the grassy plains. The bush awakens, sending thirsty elephants and zebra to the closest watering hole. Leopard cubs roughhouse in playful greeting to the morning.

The day’s game drive provide ample opportunities for wildlife spotting.

After checking the Big Five off our list, we set our sights on other catalogue of wildlife found here.

Dinner and overnight atMara LeisureCamp or similar (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Have you ever dreamed of sharing the clouds with birds, the wind whipping through your hair as the current sends you soaring ever higher? The muted colours of dawn unfold below, highlighting the boundless quiet of sunrise over the Masai Mara. This optional hot air balloon ride is the perfect goodbye to these spotted plains, an exhilarating view to the African bush from heights known only to the birds that live here.

If you prefer your feet on the ground, choose a morning game drive as your Kenyan farewell.

After lunch, we return to Nairobi.

5 Days Magnificent Amboseli and Mara Retreat Safari

5 Days Magnificent Amboseli and Mara Retreat Safari
Begin your 5-day Kenyan safari at tented Porini Amboseli Camp within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy, with striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Experience spectacular game viewing in this community-owned reserve while benefiting from Maasai guides who can escort you on bush walks through the Mara plains and host visits to their nearby village. Your next destination is another tented camp that has the privilege of being the only one in the entire Ol Kinyei Conservancy – Porini Mara Camp.
Days 1-2: Be awed in Amboseli
You are met at Nairobi International Airport and transferred by road to Porini Amboseli Camp within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy, just a few kilometres north of the Amboseli National Park. With striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, this intimate camp is designed along the lines of a traditional tented camp but includes luxuries such as an en suite bathroom and solar-powered lighting. Protected since 1997 under an agreement with the local Maasai community, this magnificent wilderness area is renowned for both resident and migrating animals that share the conservancy with a maximum of just 18 visitors per day. This sustainable ‘tread-lightly’ approach to tourism is not only beneficial to you in terms of exclusivity but also to the animals and their precious habitat.

Enjoy 4×4 game drives and Maasai-guided nature walks through both Amboseli National Park and the Selenkay Conservancy, with the opportunity to encounter nocturnal life such as serval cats, bat-eared foxes and aardvarks on spotlit night drives. Big game and predators, including lion, leopard and cheetah, are regularly spotted he
